Due to the success of our Gourmet Evening on the 6th February 2015, the Wycliffe Hotel and Restaurant has decided to re-run the same event on Friday 20th March 2015.

Mark Tavini, Manager of the Wycliffe Hotel and Restaurant, said:

“We have found our Gourmet Evening’s successful in the past, however, this particular evening sold out at least a month in advance.

It is not surprising that events such as this are so popular. Priced at £39.50 for a technical five course dinner including five glasses of hand-picked wines which are also introduced and explained by our wine expert, we feel, is excellent value for money.

These evenings are hard work, there is no question about that, but it does give us the opportunity to showcase some of our finest work.

We would like to thank all who attended the event and those who went to the trouble of writing such fantastic TripAdvisor reviews!”

Gourmet night , a night to remember……”…all I can say is wow top class food lots and lots of wine , we were expecting just small samples of each wine to suit the course, but no full glasses of very nice wines, and a expert telling why he had chosen it ect…” Click here to read the full review.

Gourmet Evening “On arrival guests receive a warm welcome from the proprietor. Just before dinner we are introduced to the wine expert who between course gives a short description of the wine matched to the next course. The food and attention to detail are excellent the staff are attentive especially Gareth whom it is always a pleasure to see.
